BeroHost Christmas Promotion AMD EPYC 9275F Benchmark

BeroHost is a well-established German hosting provider. Their 6-core 24GB deal from two years ago was quite impressive and sparked the trend of high-memory VPS offerings. The servers are reasonably stable, and the website now has an English translation. My FameSystems server in the same data center has been online for 384 days.

The network performance is relatively poor, though the owner mentioned they would optimize routing to Asia and Singapore recently (take that with a grain of salt). This provider has a history of unfulfilled promises - last year’s roadmap items remain incomplete. The good news is that these packages are stackable - you can purchase two €6.9 packages and merge them to get an 8-core, 40GB RAM, 400GB NVMe, 50TB bandwidth machine. Combined with occasional deposit bonuses (20% cashback + 2 free months for annual renewal), the value proposition becomes quite compelling.

The cluster appears to run on Proxmox VE with local ZFS RAID storage. At this price point, overselling is inevitable - if you experience poor performance, you can submit a ticket to request a node change. Network quality is subpar, so using a jump server for connection is recommended.

Maximum sustained CPU usage is capped at 50%. Prolonged 100% utilization will result in termination (a community member’s 9950X was terminated for this reason).
