HostDZire India AMD 7K62 VPS Benchmark
HostDZire is a privately held hosting provider based in Patna, Bihar, India, founded around 2013. For years their main business was acting as a reseller for Leaseweb. Since Leaseweb launched its global budget VPS plans last year, HostDZire also started touching VPS-related services. However, this India offering is self-operated by HostDZire and unrelated to Leaseweb; its stability is questionable (it has already gone down several times). The basic plans in other regions were taken down by Leaseweb but are now available for ordering again.
The AMD EPYC 7K62 should be from Tencent’s Xingxinghai servers. Since Tencent shut down all of its Mumbai operations last year, I’m guessing these were bought back by local buyers around that time (whether they can still get vendor support is unknown). The machines are currently colocated in the well-known Indian facility Iron Mountain. The datacenter is solid and not some random low-end Indian facility. Virtualization is VMware, which is relatively rare; the overselling level is unknown. On LowEndTalk they acknowledged that if the node is oversold and your performance is more than 30% lower than the Yabs results I posted, you can request to be moved to another node and they will comply. CPU usage-wise, they accept continuous CPU usage of 60%.
