Nube Hong Kong Intel D-1747NTE Benchmark

Recently BeefyAsian released a batch of special‑priced Hong Kong dedicated servers (杜甫), with long‑term rental starting from as low as $68 per month. All machines use brand‑new hardware with less than 100 hours of power‑on time, and the SSDs are freshly unboxed. The network is standard international transit; if you want to target mainland China traffic, it’s basically not suitable unless you pay extra for better routes. Pay close attention to the 95th‑percentile billing model, which matters a lot if you plan to push international bandwidth. There is no hardware RAID; it’s configured with software RAID.

Sales Strategy#

Month-to-month rental

  • Customers can rent month to month with no performance bond (security deposit) required.

  • Rent is prepaid monthly.

  • By default, you get an internationally optimized “light” route. Port is capped at 200 Mbps.

  • Within each calendar month, any portion of the server’s 95th‑percentile bandwidth above 100 Mbps is charged at 0.28 USD/Mbps as a surcharge.

  • Customers must pay a one‑time setup fee of 68 USD.

  • Monthly rent for Hong Kong dedicated servers on a month‑to‑month basis is 88 USD.

Long-term rental

  • Customers commit to 18 consecutive months. They pay 3 months’ rent upfront as a performance bond (security deposit).

  • Rent is prepaid monthly.

  • By default, you get an internationally optimized “light” route. Port is capped at 2x 10 Gbps.

  • Within each calendar month, any portion of the server’s 95th‑percentile bandwidth above 100 Mbps is charged at 0.28 USD/Mbps as a surcharge.

  • The one‑time setup fee of 68 USD is waived.

  • For Hong Kong dedicated servers, the monthly rent on an 18‑month long‑term contract is 68 USD.

  • For long‑term rentals, everything (e.g., configuration) can be discussed and upgraded.

  • What if the customer refuses to pay the overage for excess bandwidth? For month‑to‑month customers: service is terminated. For long‑term customers: double the unpaid amount is deducted from the performance bond. When the remaining bond drops below one month’s rent, the customer is deemed in breach and service is terminated.
